I bought a Staples two-year warranty on an HP printer. Though I have cleared innumerable jams from it, it is now permanently jammed. I was kept on the telephone for three hours either on hold or shuffle from one department to another (and back again)giving every information from receipt, model, serial number, dates, warranty number, addresses, coupon numbers and finally was told that if I could not clear the jam by the tech walking me though it, they could not honor the warranty -- this is a very deliberate endless runaround until you finally hang up in a fury -- that is just what they want you to do -- give up!

Monetary Loss: $150.
